Which 2027 Tucson gem shows are wholesale only, which are open to the public, and what documents wholesale buyers need to register.

TucsonGemShow101 says more than 40 shows need no registration and are open to the public. A small number of large venues are trade only.

GJX Gem & Jewelry Show Jan 30 – Feb 4 Business license, tax ID, 2 invoices, ID. Annual registration since 2025. An AGTA badge also gets you into GJX.
G&LW Gem Mall and Holidome Jan 28 – Feb 6 Company profile plus a valid state sales tax license or certificate. EINs are not accepted.
Enter the Earth, J.K. Stone, Arizona Independent Warehouse, 1820 Oracle various Resale or sales tax license

TucsonGemShow101 notes that an EIN alone is generally not accepted as proof of business at most wholesale shows.

Public, with registration or tickets

  • JOGS (Jan 27 – Feb 7) is public and wholesale. Guests without a trade ID can buy guest tickets, which TucsonGemShow101 lists at $20 + tax.
  • Colors of the Stone / To Bead True Blue (Jan 30 – Feb 6) is public, but you have to register. No registration is needed for kids 17 and under.
  • The Best Bead Show is public, with registration before entry.
  • Tucson Gem & Mineral Show (Main Show) (Feb 11 – 14) is public, with tickets sold at the door.

Free and public

Most of the central and Oracle Road shows: the 22nd Street Show, Pueblo, Mineral City, The Rock Yard, Kino, Fossil & Mineral Alley, Mineral & Fossil Marketplace, RMGM and Tucson Showplace. The Xpo Press profile for the 22nd Street Show says it is free to the public and that wholesale purchases require a copy of your tax ID, EIN or business license.

Tips

  • Pre-register online. TucsonGemShow101 says on-site lines on opening day can run over an hour (G&LW especially).
  • TucsonGemShow101 says registration typically opens in late September or October.
