Privacy

GemWeek Tucson is a static website: plain pages with no user accounts, no logins, no comments and no shopping cart. This page explains the little data that is involved when you visit.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not set cookies, does not use local storage for tracking, and does not build a profile of you. We see totals such as page views, referring sites and country, not who you are. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address) to deliver and protect the site.

Forms and email

Our forms (Get featured, Claim or update a listing, Request or fix a listing) do not send anything to a server. They open your own email app with a pre-filled message to [email protected]. Nothing is sent unless you press send in your email app. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use it only to reply and to fix or add listings. We don't sell it, and we don't add you to a mailing list.

Planner

The 2027 planner saves your ticks in your own browser (local storage) so they're there next time. That data stays on your device; clear your browser data to remove it.

Third-party content

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and map pages load the Leaflet library from unpkg and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. Those services receive your IP address and browser details when your browser fetches them. Links to businesses, shows and sources take you to sites with their own policies.

Data sources and attribution

Listing data comes from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Each listing page links to its source record. Map tiles © OpenStreetMap contributors.
